Avenida 9 de Julio por la noche, Buenos Aires, Argentina. A very busy Avenue, the biggest in the world. Quite a catch actually. I was mesmerized. I love the movement of so many cars and lots of people. I love Buenos Aires! ♥
Avenida Santa Fe, Buenos Aires, Argentina. I love walking on this avenue, it is absolutely gorgeous, and filled with many shops. Lo que me gusta mas es la arquitectura y lo bello que es todo.

For the past three weeks I’ve been on an incredible adventure in Argentina. I haven’t had the time to blog because I’m simply out all the time, visiting new places.
I don’t really want to be in front of a computer all day. I have only a few minutes right now, (again) on my laptop and very soon I will be heading to a new country: Uruguay!
It has been a dream to visit Argentina and Uruguay and the dream has come true. I will blog about everything when I’m back to the frozen place I live in. I will have plenty of time to blog there!
Right now I’m in shorts, and tank top and it’s really hot in Buenos Aires. I love it! High season is starting soon and more and more people are coming. Not that there aren’t enough people here, this city is jammed packed!
All I can say is that I’m dreaming of Uruguay, and my Argentinian adventure is over… It’s bitter sweet. Only beautiful things happened during my whole trip and Uruguay will be just the same.
I’m coming Uruguay!
A picture of me in Buenos Aires, en la Plaza de Mayo, surrounded by like a hundred birds… To be honest, I was a bit scared. I saw “The Birds” when I was a kid, ok, I was traumatized. Damn you Hitchcock! It’s such a beautiful place though =) with La Casa Rosada in the background. This day was so perfect, sunny, beautiful and hot. I love you Argentina!
The ever busy Calle Florida, in Buenos Aires. I used to walk this street many times. It’s filled with many shops, restaurants (parrillas), though you have to know where they are. There are countless of shops, including my ever favourite Lacoste!
You get harassed a lot on this street, people telling you: “you want to go to a tango show?”, “come eat at our restaurant?”, “do you want to buy a leather jacket?”, “exchange your money”, etc… The last one, “exchange your money”, apparently I was told they’re scammers. These people will give you fake money. I was freaking out at first because I didn’t want to exchange $500 US dollars and get fake money in return. So you have to know where to go to exchange your money.
The first two days I think I looked like a confused and lost tourist. You have to be tough with these sharks, because they’re only after one thing: your money. So, afterward, I never got harassed because I picked up the porteño arrogance, jajajaja, kidding, I had that already from North America ;-)
Basically, you walk around like you’re in a rush and they don’t bother you. They’ll just assume you’re another stressed person late for work :-)
Buenos Aires is a great city, I love it to the core! I adapt easily to these types of places because I’ve always lived in big cities and been to New York city like eight times! So I know how to be “big city rude”.
Some people I met got mugged on this street… it happens. I’m so glad that never happened to me. But hey, I love Buenos Aires =) it can be dangerous like any other big city in the world. Just got to be careful especially on Calle Florida.
